
SEATTLE, May 27 (UPI) -- Dustin Pedroia and Manny Ramirez drove in runs in a four-run Boston eighth Monday, producing a 5-3 win over Seattle.
David Ortiz hit a homer and scored twice to help the Red Sox end a seven-game losing streak on the road. Mike Lowell also drove in a run for Boston, which also got a bases-loaded walk for a run.
Bartolo Colon (2-0) gave up just one run over seven innings of one-run ball. Colon scattered five hits and a walk, while striking out four.
Felix Hernandez (2-5) was nicked for five runs in 7 2/3 innings. He gave up seven hits and five walks as the Mariners dropped their seventh straight.
Ichiro Suzuki scored a run and drove one in. Kenji Johjima added two hits and scored on a wild pitch. Raul Ibanez had the other RBI for Seattle.
