It trimmed the Stars' deficit to 3-2 with game 6 in Dallas on Monday night.

They lost the first two games in the best-of-seven series.

Detroit's Trevor Daley scored at 9:21 of the first period and goaltender Marty Turco made 38 saves on 39 shots.

It was Turco's first-ever victory at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena.

Jiri Hudler's goal on the power play at 15:30 of the first produced the tie while Osgood was beaten twice on 21 shots.

If a seventh game is needed, it will be played in Detroit next Wednesday.
