MLB: LA Dodgers 6, LA Angels 3

ANAHEIM, Calif., May 17 (UPI) -- Blake DeWitt's two-run homer Saturday helped the LA Dodgers beat their neighborhood rivals, the LA Angels of Anaheim, 6-3.

His third homer this season gave the Dodgers a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning.

Three players drove in one run and one scored on an eighth-inning error.

Russell Martin had three hits and was one player with one RBI.

Like DeWitt, Luis Maza had two hits for the Dodgers, who have won three of their last four games.

Winner Hong-Chih Kuo (3-1) gave up three hits in four scoreless relief innings and fanned four batters.

The Angels got one RBI from three players. One was Garret Anderson, who had three of their eight hits.

Starter Ervin Santana (6-1) suffered his first loss this season in the Angels' third loss in their last four contests.
