COMMERCE CITY, Colo., May 4 (UPI) -- Jacob Peterson and Facundo Erpen scored for the Colorado Rapids Sunday in a 2-0 Major League Soccer win over D.C. United.

Christian Gomez, a former D.C. United star, assisted on both goals.

Both scores came in the second half, Peterson firing in a shot from just outside the penalty area and Erpen scoring on a header less than 20 minutes later.

Colorado is 3-3-0. D.C. United is 2-4-0.
