Blake, Granollers-Pujol in Houston final

HOUSTON, April 19 (UPI) -- Top-seeded American James Blake and Spaniard Marcel Granollers-Pujol moved Saturday to the final of the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston.

Blake, 28, defeated Spaniard Oscar Hernandez 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) in his quest for his first clay-court championship. Blake has 10 singles titles during his career, but has yet to win one on clay.

Granollers-Pujol, 22, beat American Wayne Odesnik 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the first semifinal of the day.

Granollers-Pujol will be playing his first career ATP final.
