NEW YORK, April 15 (UPI) -- Mike Pelfrey pitched seven scoreless innings and David Wright had five RBI Tuesday, carrying the New York Mets to a 6-0 win over the Washington Nationals.
Pelfrey (2-0) allowed five hits while lowering his earned run average to 1.50 on the season.

Wright hit a two-run homer, his third home run in as many games, and added a pair of doubles that drove in three more runs.
Odalis Perez (0-3) took the loss for the Nationals after giving up two runs on six hits over six innings.
It was the Nationals' 10th loss in 11 games.
