NHL: Philadelphia 2, Pittsburgh 0

PHILADELPHIA, April 6 (UPI) -- Philadelphia goalie Martin Biron stopped all 20 Pittsburgh shots Sunday, blanking the Penguins 2-0 for his fifth shutout of the season.

The win in the final regular season game, Biron's 30th of the 2007-08, gave the Flyers the sixth playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.

Scottie Upshall and Mike Knuble scored the Philadelphia goals and Jeff Carter contributed a pair of assists.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 20 saves for Pittsburgh, which dropped to the No. 2 playoff spot behind Montreal.

The Penguins will open the playoffs against No. 7 Boston. The Flyers will play the third-seeded Washington Capitals.
