
DENVER, April 6 (UPI) -- Kevin Martin's 36 points and four rebounds Saturday helped the Sacramento Kings rally past the Denver Nuggets 118-115.
Sacramento worked its way back from a 34-25 deficit after the first period to grab a 59-56 lead at the half. Behind Carmelo Anthony, Denver made a valiant attempt to come back in the fourth period but failed.
Francisco Garcia scored 29 points with six rebounds and six assists. Mikki Moore had 23 points and 10 rebounds while Martin overcame six turnovers to add four rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Kings, who snapped Denver's nine-game home winning streak.
Anthony scored a season-high 47 points with 11 rebounds and two assists to lead Denver. Reserve Linas Kleiza scored 28 points while Allen Iverson and J.R. Smith scored 13 apiece for the Nuggets, who had won six of their previous seven games.
