NBA: Detroit 100, Seattle 97

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 4 (UPI) -- Tayshaun Prince scored 24 points Tuesday to pace the Detroit Pistons to a 100-97 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics.

Chauncey Billups had 20 points, nine assists and five steals for the Pistons. Richard Hamilton scored 18 points as Detroit posted its 15th victory in its last 18 games.

Kevin Durant and Chris Wilcox each scored 20 points for the Sonics who have lost five of their last six games. Wilcox added 10 rebounds. Earl Watson had 17 points and seven assists.
