EDMONTON, Alberta, March 2 (UPI) -- The Edmonton Oilers won their 14th shootout of the season Sunday, beating Columbus 4-3 on Ales Hemsky's second goal of the game.
Hemsky scored on a wrist shot to give the Oilers the shootout lead, which goalie Mathieu Garon preserved the win by blocking a shot by Gilbert Brule.

Hemsky also scored a goal with 8:09 remaining in regulation.
Andrew Cogliano and Steve Staios each added a goal for Edmonton and Garon registered 35 saves.
Rick Nash, Jason Chimera and Dick Tarnstrom notched the Columbus goals.
