The teams combined for 75 points in the second quarter, with Golden State scoring 41 en route to a 15-point lead at the break. Philadelphia could not make a game of it in the second half.

Pietrus came into the game averaging six points per contest, but got 19 minutes of playing time due to the one-sided nature of the game. Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis both scored 21 for Golden State, which improved to 3-1 on its current home stand.

The Warriors have beaten the Sixers five straight times.

Philadelphia was led by Andre Miller and Rodney Carney with 18 points each.
