ANTWERP, Belgium, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Justine Henin rolled to a 6-3 6-3 victory over Karin Knapp in Sunday's final at the Diamond Games tennis tournament in Antwerp, Belgium.
The top-seeded Henin, a native of Liege, Belgium, needed about 90 minutes to claim her 41st career title and second this season. The win was worth $95,000.
Last month, she won the Medibank International in Australia.
"This is a very emotional moment for me," she told reporters. "There was a lot of pressure on me to do well at home (but) it was my goal and I'm so happy I've been able to do it."
It was the first career meeting between the Henin and her 47th-ranked opponent.
Knapp, playing in a final for the first time in her career, had not won a match in three tournaments this season before her surprising run to the final.
