NHL: Minnesota 4, Phoenix 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Marian Gaborik and Pavol Demitra each had a goal and an assist for the Minnesota, which won its third straight game Sunday with a 4-1 decision over Phoenix.

The Wild got all its points before Phoenix avoided a shutout in the third period.

James Sheppard and Eric Belanger got the other Minnesota goals and Josh Harding made 26 saves.

Shane Doan scored for the Coyotes with 5:27 left to play.
