MONTREAL, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Stephen Weiss scored the winning goal Tuesday, handing the Florida Panthers a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.

Jozef Stumpel and Brett McLean also scored for Florida. Tomas Vokoun stopped 23 shots to earn the win.

Andrei Markov scored two goals for the Canadiens, who had a two-game winning streak halted. Carey Price blocked 27 shots in the loss.
