NBA: Washington 92, Sacramento 79

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- DeShaun Stevenson scored 19 points Saturday to lead five players in double figures in the Washington Wizards' 92-79 victory over Sacramento.

Washington's lead was 33-24 after one quarter, but Sacramento pulled within 52-51 at the half. A 28-16 third helped Washington gain control of the contest.

Brendan Haywood had 17 points and 11 rebounds, Antawn Jamison had 16 points and eight rebounds, Roger Mason scored 13 points, while Caron Butler added 12 points and eight assists for the Wizards -- who extended their winning streak to four games despite the loss of guard Antonio Daniels for 2-4 weeks because of a right-knee ligament injury.

Daniels has been subbing for Gilbert Arenas, who is out after left-knee surgery.

Sacramento's Brad Miller had 21 points and eight rebounds. Beno Udrih had 12 points and nine assists, Ron Artest scored 11 points, while Francisco Garcia and John Salmons scored 10 apiece for the Kings -- who have lost four straight against the Wizards.
