In the opening round, Woods double-bogeyed the last hole and trailed Furyk by a shot.

"I had the same thoughts, same focus on my swing as yesterday," Woods said. "The only difference was today I made some putts."

Reigning Masters champion Zach Johnson (67) is alone in third at 8-under 136.

The 16-player, $5.75 million off-season tournament benefits the Woods Foundation.
