NHL: San Jose 4, Phoenix 1

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Evgeni Nabokov stopped 22-of-23 shots Saturday night to help the San Jose Sharks beat the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-1.

The only goal Nabokov allowed was scored by Steven Reinprecht in the first period.

San Jose's Devin Setoguchi, Jeremy Roenick (unassisted), Torrey Mitchell and Sandis Ozolinsh (power play) all scored once.

Roenick's goal -- the 500th of his NHL career -- broke a 1-1 tie at 6:35 of the second period and put San Jose ahead to stay.

The Sharks had lost their previous two games. In reverse, the Coyotes had won their previous two games.

Phoenix goaltender Alex Auld was beaten four times on 28 shots.

On the power play, San Jose was 1-for-4, while Phoenix failed to convert on two chances.
