VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Dan Ellis made 30 saves and recorded his second shutout of the season Thursday as Nashville downed Vancouver 3-0.
Ellis got his third straight start even though Nashville Coach Barry Trotz has said the struggling Chris Mason is still the team's No. 1 goaltender.

It was Nashville's first road win of the season after the Predators had lost their first five away from home.
David Legwand and Martin Erat scored 2:06 apart in the first period and it stayed 2-0 until Jason Arnott scored on the power play with just nine seconds left in the game.
Vancouver's Robert Luongo made only 11 saves.
