HOUSTON, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Jeff Francoeur and Brandon Jones both drove in three runs Friday night, to carry the Atlanta Braves to a 7-2 victory over Houston.
The game marked the debut of Cecil Cooper as Houston's full-time manager. He had been serving on an interim basis until signing a two-year contract.
The Astros had won their previous three games.
Craig Biggio, with two games remaining in his career, had a single to run his all-time hit total to 3,057.
Francoeur hit a two-run homer in the fifth to give Atlanta the lead, and the Braves scored three times in the sixth -- on a one-run double by Mark Teixeira and a two-run double by Jones.
Jo-Jo Reyes (2-2) picked up the win by giving up two runs on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings.
The loss went to Matt Albers (4-11), who was touched for four runs over five innings.
