Rochus, the eighth seed from Belgium, beat Germany's Rainer Schuettler, 6-4, 6-4, to reach a final for the first time since winning the Munich crown last year. He will try for his third career title, the other coming in 2000 in Palermo.

Before this week's run, Rochus had lost in the first round of each of his three previous events since a quarterfinal appearance at the Swedish Open in July.

Gasquet, 21, will try for his fifth career title and first of 2007. He won three times last year, but his only final this year resulted in a loss to Novak Djokovic in Estoril in May.
