NFL: Seattle 19, Oakland 14

SEATTLE, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Marquis Weeks scored on an 11-yard run early in the fourth period Thursday night, giving the Seattle Seahawks a 19-14 exhibition decision over Oakland.

The Seahawks closed out their preseason with a 3-1 record -- and with quarterback Seneca Wallace going the distance against the Raiders. Wallace was 12 of 26 with one touchdown and two interceptions.

Seattle drove 67 yards in 10 plays to the winning touchdown.

Oakland's Daunte Culpepper was 11 of 19 for 108 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Culpepper hit James Adkisson with a five-yard scoring toss in the third period to give the Raiders a 14-12 lead.

The Seahawks will begin their season at home against Tampa Bay while Oakland (2-2) will start out at home against Detroit.
