NFL: Denver 21, Arizona 3

DENVER, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Andre Hall scored on a pair of two-yard runs Thursday night as the Denver Broncos closed out the exhibition season with a 21-3 victory over Arizona.

Hall gained 52 yards on 18 carries and scored in both the second and third periods. Denver's Darrell Hackney saw most of the quarterback action and hit on six of 13 for 84 yards.

The Broncos finished the exhibition season at 2-2 and will begin play at Buffalo.

Arizona managed 307 total yards and 20 first downs but could not score a touchdown. Matt Leinart threw only six passes, completing two, while Kurt Warner was just one of two.

The Cardinals were winless in the exhibition games and will open their season on a Monday night at San Francisco.
