NFL: Tennessee 27, New England 24

FOXBORO, Mass., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- John Vaughn kicked a 22-yard field goal on the first play after the two-minute warning Friday night, as Tennessee beat New England, 27-24, in preseason play.

Tennessee quarterback Vince Young, who missed his team's first exhibition game while serving a suspension, completed only five of 17 passes for 102 yards. Kerry Collins came on to hit on eight of 12 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.

New England's Tom Brady completed 10 of 19 for 145 yards and a score, but he was intercepted twice.

Tennessee drove 76 yards on 13 plays before Vaughn kicked the winning field goal. The Patriots then turned the ball over on downs.
