EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Interception returns for touchdowns by Darren Sharper and Chad Greenway Friday night boosted the Minnesota Vikings to a 37-20 victory over the New York Jets.
New York's Chad Pennington -- who did not throw a pass in his first exhibition outing last week -- struggled throwing it Friday night.

The Jets' first series ended when Sharper picked off a Pennington pass and returned it 40 yards for a score. Greenway had a 16-yard touchdown return later in the first period.
Adrian Peterson, the Vikings' first-round draft pick, contributed 70 rushing yards and a touchdown.
