MIAMI, July 31 (UPI) -- Right-hander Aaron Cook picked up his third straight win Tuesday as the Colorado Rockies downed the Florida Marlins 6-3.
Cook (8-6) gave up three runs on five hits over 7 2/3 innings.

Matt Holliday went 3-for-4 and scored two runs for the Rockies, who won their third straight game. Garrett Atkins hit a three-run double, and Willy Taveras scored twice in the victory.
Miguel Olivo homered for the Marlins, who have lost seven of their last eight games.
Florida's Scott Olsen (8-9) gave up six runs on seven hits over five innings to take the loss.
