MLB: Washington 4, Houston 3

WASHINGTON, July 16 (UPI) -- Dmitri Young hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning Monday, fueling the Washington Nationals' 4-3 victory over the Houston Astros.

Ryan Zimmerman went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, while Ryan Church drove in the other run for the Nationals, who have won four of their last six games.

Saul Rivera (4-2) got the win for pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings. Mike Bacsik started for Washington and allowed two runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Carlos Lee had a solo homer and two RBI, and Mark Loretta drove in the other run for the Astros, who have lost four straight.

Woody Williams (4-11) took the loss after giving up four runs on six hits in six innings.
