Jamie McMurray wins Pepsi 400

DAYTONA, Fla., July 7 (UPI) -- Jamie McMurray recovered from a penalty to win Saturday night's Pepsi 400 at the Daytona International Speedway.

McMurray, driving a Ford, finished just inches ahead of Kyle Busch. The victory was McMurray's first of the season and second of his Nextel Cup career.

Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards and Jeff Gordon completed the top-five.
