Edwards wins for first time since 2005

BROOKLYN, Mich., June 17 (UPI) -- Carl Edwards broke a 52-race winless streak when he won Sunday's Citizens Bank 400 at the Michigan International Speedway.

Edwards finished three seconds ahead of Martin Truex Jr. to get the fifth victory of his Nextel Cup career -- and the first since November 2005 at the Texas Motor Speedway.
