MLB: Cincinnati 5, L.A. Angels 3

CINCINNATI, June 12 (UPI) -- Ken Griffey Jr. drove in the go-ahead run Tuesday as the Cincinnati Reds notched a 5-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Josh Hamilton went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Reds, who have won four of their last five games.

Jon Coutlangus (3-1) pitched a perfect inning in relief of Bronson Arroyo, who allowed three runs on nine hits in six innings. David Weathers got the last four outs for his 13th save in 15 chances.

Casey Kotchman and Gary Matthews Jr. hit solo homers for the Angels, who lost for just the third time in their last 10 games.

Kelvim Escobar struck out a 14 over six innings. He allowed three runs on five hits and one walk. Dustin Moseley (4-1) allowed a run on two hits while getting just one out for the loss.
