MLB: Seattle 8, Cleveland 7

CLEVELAND, June 11 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez, who had two homers and five RBI, drove in the winning run in the top of the ninth Monday as the Seattle Mariners edged the Cleveland Indians 8-7.

Ibanez went 4-for-5 as the Mariners have won four straight and seven of eight. Jose Lopez added a two-run homer and Jose Guillen drove in the other run for Seattle, which recovered after blowing a 7-0 lead.

Casey Blake went 3-for-5, extending his career-high hit streak a current major-league best 20 games, and drove in two runs for the Indians, who have lost six of their last nine games.

Travis Hafner had two hits and two RBI for Cleveland, which was hosting Seattle because of a four-game snow out early this season.

Brendan Morrow (3-0) got the win for Seattle by recording the final six outs. He allowed one run on three hits. Joe Borowski (0-3) suffered the loss, allowing one run on three hits.
