MLB: San Francisco 3, N.Y. Mets 0

NEW YORK, May 30 (UPI) -- Barry Zito and two relievers combined to hurl a six-hit shutout Wednesday as San Francisco beat the New York Mets 3-0.

Pedro Feliz hit a two-run single in the top of the first and added an RBI triple in the third.

Rich Aurilia had a run and four hits for the Giants, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Zito (5-5) scattered six hits over seven innings with one walk and seven strikeouts. Zito, who signed a seven-year, $136 million free agent contract in the off-season, improved to 2-0 against the Mets in 2007.

Jack Taschner and Brad Hennessey both pitched one scoreless inning, with Hennessey earning his second save of the season.

Paul Lo Duca had two of the six hits for the Mets, who had a four-game winning streak broken and were shut out for the first time this season.

Loser Tom Glavine (5-3) surrendered three earned runs on nine hits in seven innings.
