MLB: San Francisco 15, Colorado 2

DENVER, May 13 (UPI) -- Fred Lewis scored three runs and drove in four runs Sunday as San Francisco trounced Colorado 15-2.

His seventh inning single made him the 22nd San Francisco player to hit for the cycle. Lewis finished the day with five hits. His homer was a three-run blast in the top of the fourth.

Kevin Frandsen had four hits and three RBI, Dan Ortmeier had two RBI, and Omar Vizquel and Eliezer Alfonzo both had three hits for the Giants, who have won three of their last eight games.

Matt Cain (2-3) scattered an earned run and five hits in six innings.

Chris Iannetta and Willy Taveras had one RBI each, and Yorvit Torrealba had a run and two hits for the Rockies, who have dropped four of six.

Loser Taylor Buchholz (1-2) gave up eight earned runs and 12 hits in 4 2/3 innings.
