MLB: Baltimore 8, Tampa Bay 3

BALTIMORE, May 8 (UPI) -- Nick Markakis hit a two-run home run Tuesday night to lead the Baltimore Orioles to an 8-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Miguel Tejada went 3-for-5 with an RBI and scored once, and Jay Gibbons had three hits, including a home run. Melvin Mora added two RBI for the Orioles.

Jeremy Guthrie (2-1) pitched six innings of one-run, six-hit ball to pick up the win.

Carlos Pena went 4-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, while Jae Seo (1-3) suffered the loss, giving up five runs in just three innings for the Devil Rays -- who have lost three of their last four games.
