Ochoa tied for LPGA lead in native Mexico

MORELIA, Mexico, April 28 (UPI) -- Mexican Lorena Ochoa turned in a third-round 9-under 64 Saturday to move into a three-way tie for the lead at the LPGA's Corona Championship.

Ochoa shared the lead after 54 holes with Julieta Granada (67) and Silvia Cavalleri (69) at 13-under 206.

Pat Hurst (68) and Na On Min (67) were a shot off the lead at 12-under 207, while a group of seven players were three more strokes further back at 210.

Ochoa is striving for her eighth victory in 12 months. During that period, she has moved ahead of injured Annika Sorenstam to take over the women's No. 1 world ranking.
