BUDAPEST, Hungary, April 27 (UPI) -- Second-seed and former champion Martina Muller of Germany was among Thursday's second-round losers at the Budapest Grand Prix.
Muller, who won the tournament in 2002, lost to qualifier Sorana Cirstea of Romania, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

Other winners were No. 4 Emilie Loit of France; No. 5 Eleni Daniilidou of Greece; No. 6 Gisela Dulko of Argentina; and wild card Agnes Szavay of Hungary.
Friday's quarterfinals will pit Loit against Szavay; Daniilidou against Cirstea; Dulko against Olga Savchuk of Ukraine; and Karin Knapp of Italy against 2001 Budapest runner-up Anne Kremer of Luxembourg.
The 2007 champion will collect $25,840.
