Hunter beaned, taken to hospital

MINNEAPOLIS, April 26 (UPI) -- Kansas City pitcher Zack Greinke hit Minnesota Twins outfielder Torii Hunter in the face during Tuesday's game, and Hunter was taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred in the second inning on a 2-2 count.

Hunter, who is betting .315 with four home runs and 16 RBI, attempted to charge the mound before doubling over in pain. He left the field on his own power.
