NBA: Philadelphia 102, Detroit 91

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 15 (UPI) -- Willie Green scored 26 points Sunday night as the Philadelphia 76ers surprised the Detroit Pistons, 102-91.

Philadelphia used a 13-5 run to grab a 67-59 lead midway through the third quarter, and led, 77-70, heading to the fourth.

Detroit trailed by as many as 18 at one point.

Steven Hunter had 16 points and eight assists, Bobby Jones and Joe Smith scored 13 points apiece, and Andre Miller added 12 points and nine assists for the 76ers, who have won four of five, but were eliminated from playoff contention by Saturday's loss to Orlando.

Tayshaun Prince scored 15 points to lead Detroit. Amir Johnson had career highs in both points (12) and rebounds (10); and Lindsey Hunter had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists for the Pistons, who rested their starters through most of the game, and have secured the Central Division title for the third straight season.
