EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 14 (UPI) -- Vincent Lecavalier scored in the third period Saturday to lead Tampa Bay past New Jersey, 3-2, to even their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at 1-1.

Martin St. Louis scored, Brad Richards had two assists and Johan Holmqvist had 34 saves for the Lightning.

Jamie Langenbrunner had a goal and an assist, and Martin Brodeur let in three goals in 20 shots for the Devils, who took Game 1 Thursday.

Game 3 is set for Monday in Tampa.
