RALEIGH, N.C., April 7 (UPI) -- Rod Brind'Amour scored in overtime Saturday afternoon to give the Carolina Hurricanes a 5-4 victory over Florida.
David Tanabe scored twice and Eric Cole and Eric Staal each scored once for the Hurricanes, who came back from a 4-1 third-period deficit to close the season with a win.

Hurricanes goalie John Grahame made 35 saves.
Olli Jokinen had a goal and two assists for the Panthers, who ended the season at 35-31-16 record.
Ville Peltonen also had a goal and two assists, and Panthers goalie Craig Anderson stopped 48 shots.
