COL BKB: Florida 73, Oregon 57

ST. LOUIS, March 25 (UPI) -- Seven three-pointers by Lee Humphrey ignited defending champion Florida to a 73-57 win over Oregon Sunday that put the Gators back in the Final Four.

Florida (33-5) equaled the school record for most wins in a season, a mark that was set in the Gators' championship run a year ago. The victory in the Midwest Region final was Florida's 10th straight in the NCAA Tournament.

Waiting for Florida in next Saturday's national semifinals will be UCLA, the team the Gators defeated in the 2006 title contest.

Humphrey scored 23 points and Taurean Green added 21. Joakim Noah, Florida's normally dominant inside force, was limited to 14 points.

"Oregon held down our big people," said Florida Coach Billy Donovan. "They gave us the outside shot and we had to take it."

Aaron Brooks led Oregon (29-8) with 27 points. The game was tied at 45-45 early in the second half before Green hit a three-pointer and a layup to put the Gators ahead by five. Humphrey later hit consecutive three-pointers to give Florida a 67-57 lead and the Ducks could not recover.
