NBA: New Orleans 107, Atlanta 100

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Chris Paul and Desmond Mason combined for four free throws in the final 14 seconds Wednesday night as the New Orleans' Hornets beat Atlanta, 107-100.

It was the Hornets sixth straight win on their home courts -- including one in New Orleans. They play the majority of their home contests in Oklahoma City, Okla., in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Paul scored 24 points, Devin Brown had 19 and Mason pitched in 16.

A three-pointer by Atlanta's Salim Stoudamire with 19 seconds left cut the Hawks' deficit to three. But Paul hit a pair of free throws and, after a missed three-pointer by the Hawks, Mason added two more.

Joe Johnson led Atlanta with 27 points. The Hawks have lost five out of six.
