NBA: Cleveland 97, New Orleans 89

CLEVELAND, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- LeBron James had 35 points, eight assists and five rebounds Tuesday to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 97-89 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.

Trailing 81-70, the Hornets went on a 13-2 run to tie the game at 83-83 with 4:13 left to play.

Larry Hughes scored just 11 points on 5-of-16 shooting, but he had five assists and eight rebounds. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers.

David West had 25 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for the Hornets, Desmond Mason added 16 points and Tyson Chandler had 14 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.
