COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Alexander Radulov scored the only goal in the shootout Sunday night, giving the Nashville Predators a 4-3 victory over Columbus.

The Predators let a two-goal advantage get away in the third period, but eventually downed the Blue Jackets for the seventh time this season.

Chris Mason made 31 saves and was able to blank Columbus in the shootout. Vernon Fiddler, Jean-Pierre Dumont and Paul Kariya scored in regulation for Nashville.

Ron Hainsey tied it for Columbus with 9:04 to play in the third period.

Columbus Coach Ken Hitchcock was behind the bench for the 800th game of his career. This is his third stop in the NHL, having guided Dallas to the Stanley Cup in 1999 before moving on to Philadelphia.
