NASHVILLE, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Shootout goals from Paul Kariya and Saku Koivu Thursday night boosted the Montreal Canadiens to a 6-5 win over Nashville.
Jaroslav Halak stopped Peter Forsberg's bid to continue the shootout as the Canadians finished off a rally and won their third straight.

Montreal forced overtime when Sergei Samsonov scored with 48 seconds remaining in regulation.
Nashville owned a two-goal lead on three occasions, but lost for the third time in four games.
