NHL: N.Y. Islanders 4, Boston 1

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Randy Robitaille scored twice Thursday night to lead the New York Islanders to a 4-1 win over Boston.

Robitaille scored both goals in the third period, after goals by Jeff Tambellini and Mike Sillinger had given the Islanders a 2-1 lead.

Jason Blake had two assists, Sillinger had one assist, and Rick DiPietro made 24 saves on 25 shots for the Islanders, who have won two in a row and three of five.

Glen Murray scored the only goal, and Tim Thomas was beaten three times on 37 shots for the Bruins, who lost for just the second time in their last six games.

Murray scored the game's only power-play goal in the second period.
