The Tar Heels have won two straight since being upset by Virginia Tech last weekend, and are 17-2 overall and 4-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Georgia Tech, which has won seven of its last nine, is 13-5 overall and 2-3 in the ACC.

The Yellow Jackets worked back within striking range of North Carolina after the first surge, but back-to-back three-point shots by Wes Miller and Ty Lawson restored the Tar Heels' edge to 30-20 with 5:17 to go in the first half.

Hansbrough had four points in a 6-0 run that put North Carolina ahead by 52-36 with 12:17 to play.

Hansbrough finished with 24 points -- including 14-of-15 from the free throw line -- and six rebounds. Terry added 16 points for the Tar Heels.
