NHL: Tampa Bay 5, Washington 4

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Vincent Lecavalier scored twice and Martin St. Louis delivered the game-winner Thursday night as the Tampa Bay Lightning edged Washington, 5-4.

Tampa Bay won its third straight and halted Washington's three-game winning streak.

St. Louis scored 3:22 into the third period to break a 4-4 tie and produce the only goal of the final stanza.

Alexander Semin scored twice for Washington, running his goal total to 24 for the season. It was the opening game of Washington's four-game road trip.
