NBA: Phoenix 113, Seattle 102

PHOENIX, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Steve Nash, with 27 points and 11 assists, led the red-hot Phoenix Suns to a 113-102 win over the Seattle SuperSonics Tuesday.

Also for the Suns, who have won six straight and their 25th of 28 since starting the season 1-5, Shawn Marion scored 29 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Amare Stoudemire scored 12 points and pulled down seven boards and Leandro Barbosa added 13 points off the bench for the Suns.

The Seattle loss came despite a career night for Nick Collison, who scored 29 points and pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds for the Sonics, who have lost five straight and seven of eight.

Ray Allen scored 25 points and had nine assists for Seattle, and Earl Watson scored 12 points and had nine assists. Johan Petro scored 10 points and raked in 10 boards for Seattle.
