ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Martin St. Louis and Vincent Lecavalier both scored a goal and had an assist Thursday night as the Tampa Bay Lightning fought off Minnesota, 3-2.
Pavol Demitra brought the Wild within a goal with 6:15 remaining, but Minnesota could not capitalize on a late power play and lost at home for the first time in nine games.

Dan Boyle added a goal for Tampa Bay and Marc Denis made 29 saves.
It was only the fourth home loss in 22 games this year for Minnesota.
