TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Jan. 1 (UPI) -- The eighth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Oklahoma Sooners, 70-55, Monday.
Jermareo Davidson had 17 points and six rebounds and Richard Hendrix 14 points and 10 rebounds for Alabama (13-1), which has won six in a row. Sophomore Alonzo Gee, the Tide's leading scorer going into the game, was held to just six points.

Tony Crocker had 15 points and eight rebounds for Oklahoma (8-4), which saw its four-game winning streak end. David Godbold, with 11 points, was the only other Oklahoma player in double-figures.
Oklahoma out-rebounded Alabama, 40-31.
